Design and engineering with a touch of boldness.
I'm a life-long Design Engineer, Automotive Engineer, and self-taught Acoustic Engineer with a robust career spanning multiple disciplines and industries. Currently, I lead a global engineering team at Tymphany, focusing on mechanical design, acoustic engineering, and prototyping. My journey as an engineer includes developing cutting-edge automotive audio solutions, spearheading advanced technology innovations abroad in Germany and Wales, and managing complex projects in the automotive and composite materials industries. With a strong foundation in mechanical and acoustic design, I thrive on pushing the boundaries of engineering to create unforgettable experiences and products. I'm completely driven by my biggest passions – automobiles, and audio gear.
Through my early career journey I have discovered some people struggle identifying something they are passionate about. I have been lucky enough to discover I am passionate about not one, but two things: automobiles and high performance audio. These two things are surprisingly complementary and I have been fortunate to experience the fusion of both in my career more than once.
Whether it is a car's high revving engine or the design of a classic CD player - I am obsessed. Design is the common ground that link these two interests together. Crafting new products with character or personality is a challenge I seek out every single day.
Through years of collecting, restoring, tinkering and crafting products or components, I have discovered immense joy can be found in developing something new. I am in the pursuit of creating products which leave a user with a memorable experience, hopefully an experience they will remember long after owning that product.
I am grateful to have discovered the things I am passionate about. My passion is what drives me to make the best possible work. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth over doing.
Thanks for visiting!
